Front Office Staff
Cutting Edge Foot and Ankle is looking for a Receptionist to join our team in our Skyline office. The Receptionist will greet and assist visitors and clients of the organization.

Position Summary
The Front Office Staff team member will support daily office operations by greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, handling check-in or check-out, and helping maintain an efficient front desk workflow. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression and ensuring a smooth patient experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, questions, and general requests
- Check patients in or out accurately and efficiently
- Verify and update patient demographics, insurance, and other account information
- Collect copays, balances, OTC sales, and required forms at the time of service
- Scan, upload, and organize patient documents in the electronic medical record
- Manage incoming faxes, voicemails, and front office communication
- Coordinate with clinical staff and providers to support patient flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Provide excellent customer service and handle patient concerns appropriately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in patient-facing customer service or front office support in a healthcare clinic or hospital setting
- Knowledge of medical insurance, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans, highly preferred
- Prior experience in podiatry or orthopedic practice preferred
- Exceptional customer service skills with a compassionate, professional, and patient-centered approach
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage challenging situations effectively and efficiently
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong grammar and professionalism
- Proficient in computer-based documentation, notes, and written communication
- Experience with EMR systems preferred; eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
